With at least 15 concurrent sessions and two thought-provoking plenaries, you'll gain actionable takeaways to support and inspire educators at your institution. 

Faculty Engagement and Retention   
Sessions in this track explore strategies for supporting faculty throughout their careers, balancing academic demands, and fostering long-term engagement. Topics include retention strategies, overcoming burnout, faculty motivation, and reenergizing educators to sustain their passion for teaching and scholarship.

Assessing and Measuring Faculty Development Impact 
How do we measure the success of faculty development efforts? This track focuses on assessing faculty growth, evaluating professional development initiatives, and demonstrating impact. Sessions may cover topics such as learning records, performance evaluation models, feedback strategies, and development planning to ensure continuous faculty improvement.

Advancing Evidence-Based Teaching Development 
This track focuses on how faculty developers guide educators in adopting evidence-based instructional strategies while supporting pedagogical innovation. Sessions will explore training faculty on universal design for learning (UDL), course redesign support, and data-informed teaching improvements, as well as introducing emerging teaching models, integrating technology, and fostering experimentation in the classroom. Faculty developers will gain tools to help educators enhance their teaching effectiveness while staying at the forefront of instructional innovation. 

Leadership in Faculty Development 
Strong leadership is essential for fostering a thriving academic environment. Sessions in this track focus on mentoring and coaching faculty, managing conflict, promoting inclusion and belonging, and building faculty collaboration. Topics also include strategic leadership in higher education, supporting faculty growth, and cultivating a positive institutional culture.

Building Innovative Faculty Development Programs
This track is designed for those responsible for developing, marketing, and delivering faculty training programs and resources. Sessions focus on creating effective workshops, scaling faculty development initiatives, leveraging digital tools, and designing impactful professional learning experiences that drive faculty success.

Special Topics in Faculty Development 
Faculty development encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that don’t always fit neatly into traditional categories. This track includes emerging and interdisciplinary topics such as AI and technology in faculty development, trends and innovations, securing funding, strategic planning, publishing scholarly work, and other topics that don’t quite fit within the other topic tracks.
